About Duluth Perinatal

When I'm not working you can find me:
  • playing with my spunky, precious toddler
  • reading a good book
  • researching more books for my TBR shelf
  • playing volleyball
  • collecting crystals, rocks, and sea glass
  • tending to my plants
  • lounging with my family and dog, and
  • watching the latest show or movie on one of our streaming services.

Hello, and welcome! My name is Celleste. I’m a Marriage and Family Therapist and MFT Board-approved Clinical Supervisor in MN and WI. I currently have the pleasure of serving as the Vice Chair for Pregnancy and Postpartum Support MN, a local 501(c)3 non-profit. I also co-own and helped start The Nurture Collective, a new perinatal and reproductive space in the Twin Ports!

I am certified as a Perinatal Mental Health Specialist (PMH-C) and additionally specialize in reproductive mental health. Whether you are experiencing challenges with infertility, pregnancy, postpartum, birth trauma, or post-loss know that you are not alone. I am passionate about working with individuals and couples who are in the season of life where they are expanding, or working on expanding, their family. With over a decade of experience supporting the journey from pre-conception to pre-kindergarten, and as a fertility challenged mom myself, I can deeply connect with the multitude of good and hard parts of life.

I utilize a blend of relational, attachment-, trauma-, and emotionally-focused techniques used to heal birth trauma; provide support to new parents; improve maternal mental health; and help increase a sense of security and bonding between people with whom we are closest to in life. Exploring matrescence is something that lights me up (if you don't know this word yet we'll unpack it together). I am also trained in Circle of Security-Parenting, an attachment-based parenting program.

During our work together you can expect curiosity, warmth, empathy, and humor with emphasis on how your personal strengths, feelings, relationships, and unique coping strategies work together to promote wellbeing. We'll figure this out together and help you figure out who you are now, and process what changed along the way. I’ve found that a combination of education, support, space to be human, playfulness, love, and connection are vital.

Meet the Team

Hi! My name is Emma. I am a post-graduate professional pursuing independent licensure in marriage and family therapy; my supervisor is Celleste. My focus is on supporting individuals, couples, and families as they navigate the complex emotional and relational transitions that come with pregnancy, postpartum, and early parenthood. There is a lot that happens during this period, both wonderful and challenging, and I am here with you for it all.

I am trained in both recognizing and working with perinatal mental health challenges through Postpartum Support International, and have completed reproductive mental health training through the Seleni Institute. My clinical work focuses on grief and loss, pregnancy after loss, and birth trauma. I am trained in EMDR, Trauma Focused-CBT, and Gottman (level 1) however I use a blend of techniques that prioritize attachment, development, somatic awareness, and emotional experiencing.

I bring a diverse range of life experiences, including several years of living internationally, which have shaped my culturally responsive and compassionate approach to therapy. I’m deeply passionate about supporting families in our community and believe that every stage of family life deserves care, understanding, and connection. Under supervision, I continue to grow as a clinician while offering meaningful and thoughtful support to humans I sit with.

When I'm not working you can find me:
  • singing and playing music with my husband
  • playing with our two dogs
  • listening to NPR or reading a good book
  • enjoying life by the beautiful Lake Superior, and
  • traveling home to family in France or somewhere else in the world!

When I'm not working you can find me:
  • with my sister and my 6-month-old niece
  • traveling to my hometown in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan
  • chilling at Lake Superior with my 3-footed golden retriever, Pharris

Hello! My name is Ashley, and I’m a graduate counseling intern at Duluth Perinatal. I am currently completing my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at University of Wisconsin - Superior, and I am working towards licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC). My supervisor is Celleste.

My background is in anthropology and early childhood education, which is where I developed a deep appreciation for the ways our relationships, environments, and cultures shape and define our life’s development. I am committed to honoring each person's unique story while helping them identify practical, meaningful steps toward the life they want to create.

I believe healing happens in our day-to-day life, through connection, compassion, and community. My goal is to create a warm, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to explore their experiences and move toward their goals. I am honored to be part of the Duluth Perinatal team and look forward to supporting individuals and families throughout their journeys.
